PTO is so much than fundraising, but the key to our success is often based on the amount of money we raise each school year. In order to continue to buy items for the school we have to do fundraisers. Our goal is to have two large fundraiser a year, and supplement with programs like, Box Top for Education, and Cambell's Labels. Below you will find and brief description of each of our fundraisers and how you can help make them successful.
Please note, sometimes, the school system sends home fundraisers, it is important that you know, these are NOT PTO sponsored.
Ox Bow PTO sponsored Fundraisers:
Fall: Exercise for Education - often called the Jog-a-thon
Exercise for Education is a fitness fundraiser whose purpose is to build awareness as to the importance of exercise’s impact on your children’s lives. Our students will hone their fitness skills while increasing school spirit all while having fun and showing support in the way of pledges for their school.
Spring: Ox Bow Zaar
The Zaar is Oxbow's annual family event and our biggest fundraiser of the year. Last year we raised over $25,000 that is currently being used this year to pay for many of the supplies and events your children participate in. This year's Zaar is being held on Saturday, March 9th. The Zaar has become a tradition at Ox Bow School for over 20 years and the students look forward to it all year long. Spring: Ox Bow Zaar

Fuel Your Sole 5k/2kFUEL YOUR SOLE 5K RUN/WALK - 2K KIDS RUN
Cut and clip all your box tops. The PTO earns 10 cents for each one. If ever child turned in 10 box tops a month they would earn $1 for the school. With 500 students that would equal $500 a month. Which could in turn be close to $5,000 a year.
Watch for monthly classroom competitions, to help collect box tops.

Campbells Soup Labels: These labels add up points that in turn earn supplies for our school. Watch for monthly contest that collect labels. Make sure to put your student’s name on it so they can be eligible for a prize. Labels can be turned in outside of the school office. http://www.boxtops4education.com/
